Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks is an American actress best known for her role as Joan Holloway in the seven seasons of period drama on AMC Mad Men (2007-2015). It was her role in Mad Men that earned Christina Hendricks a total of six Emmy Awards for her performance in the Best Supporting Actress category. Through her 20-year career she also gained recognition for her part in the comedy drama Another Period, a crime thriller dubbed Tin Star. Her voice is featured in films like Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River and The Neon Demon, The Strangers : Prey at Night Egg as well as American Woman. She has also recorded her voice on animated series like From Up on Poppy Hill Toy Story 4 or Scoob! Before that, she was working as a model. She carried on for quite a while before she made her acting debut on TV with the anthology series Undressed in 1999. The first time she acted was in the role on the show in Beggars and Choosers. Her part in Firefly is a beloved classic film that was also highly acclaimed by both audiences and critics alike, was followed. Esquire magazine honoured her with the title of sexiest as well as most attractive American woman of the year 2010 as part of their annual survey.
