Aisling Bea

Aisling was born on 16 March 1984, in Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's most successful and popular comedians. She has appeared on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984), better known as Aisling Bea is a popular Irish actor, writer and comedian. Bea started her professional career with stand-up comedy in the year 2011, after playing a few small roles she played on Irish and British television dramas from 2009. From 2012 on Bea began appearing on sketch comedy shows or sitcoms. When she was awarded an prize from the Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011 and then became a regular on various panel shows, where she's becoming a mainstay. Between 2016 and 2017, she was a member of 8 Out of 10 Cats team in addition to being a performer of the 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown spinoff. Her parents were Brian as well as Helen O'Sullivan. She has a younger sister, Sinead. In 2012, she was the second female to receive the So You Think That You're Funny award. Bea, her maiden name, was a tribute to her dad who died in the year 2000. The news of his suicide only after the age of thirteen. Bea adopted the stage name Bea to pay tribute to her father. Bea and her younger sister Sinead was raised with Helen Moloney (n e Moloney) who was a jockey as well as a teacher at a secondary school. Their family was obsessed with racing meetings and horses. Bea spent her childhood as a tour guide at the Irish National Stud. From the age of a child, Bea knew that she did not want to pursue a racing career. Instead she loved the performing arts.
