Aisling Bea

Bea started her professional career with stand-up comedy in the year 2011, after playing a few small roles she played on Irish and British television dramas from 2009. From 2012 on Bea began appearing on sketch comedy shows or sitcoms. When she was awarded an prize from the Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011 and then became a regular on various panel shows, where she's becoming a mainstay. Between 2016 and 2017, she was a member of 8 Out of 10 Cats team in addition to being a performer of the 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown spinoff. Her parents were Brian as well as Helen O'Sullivan. Bea and her younger sister Sinead was raised with Helen Moloney (n e Moloney) who was a jockey as well as a teacher at a secondary school. Their family was obsessed with racing meetings and horses. Bea spent her childhood as a tour guide at the Irish National Stud. From the age of a child, Bea knew that she did not want to pursue a racing career. Instead she loved the performing arts.
