Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actress working on TV and in films is most well-known for her roles in films such as Rush and Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the only daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. At the age of 16years old, she had secured a number of TV roles which included the leading role in Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. They praised her performance of Der Tunnel. This paved the way for other unforgettable parts, such as Adolf Hitler's Secretariat Traudl Junge. Additional Oscar nominated films featuring the diva include The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. Over the years Alexandra has appeared in many important international and national productions. These include British biographical Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time and the French documentary about the history of Napoleon in addition to other projects. She also served on the jury at the Transylvania International Film Festival, and was also a juror at Cannes Film Festival.
