Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actress working on TV and in films is most well-known for her roles in films such as Rush and Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the only daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. At the age of 16years old, she had secured a number of TV roles which included the leading role in Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. They praised her performance of Der Tunnel. This paved the way for other unforgettable parts, such as Adolf Hitler's Secretariat Traudl Junge. Additional Oscar nominated films featuring the diva include The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. Over the years Alexandra has appeared in many important international and national productions.
