Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German actress on television and film best known for her performances in films like Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. As the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu. Alexandra began her career in showbiz at a young age. She played lead roles in television dramas as early as the age of 16. The audience was impressed by her portrayal in Der Tunnel. This paved the way to other memorable parts, such as Adolf Hitler's secretariat Traudl Junge. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex and The Reader are also Oscar-nominated films featuring the actress. In the past, Alexandra has been involved in a variety of important international and national productions.
